Klassentreffen

In "Klassentreffen" (Class reunion) we gain an insight into the lives of five former special needs pupils who attended the first small class at secondary school level in Basel in 1963. In the summer of 1984, 15 years after leaving school, the five, now all around thirty years old, meet again at a class reunion.
It is no ordinary class reunion, because we have produced a short video portrait of each of them, which they also get to see there for the first time.
The result is a multi-layered confrontation between five distinctive people. Each reflects in their own way on their social self-image, the current living conditions of the others and their relationship to the special school.
