The Federal Asylum Centre Basel stands in an empty urban area, between the national border, freight routes and the municipal forest. Surrounded by concrete walls and barbed wire, it appears more like a prison than an asylum centre from the outside. Up to 300 people are waiting for their asylum decision here at the same time. Their future depends on how the authorities judge their case. "Missing Time" takes an in-depth look at this time of uncertainty.
