Unter einem Dach

"Unter einem Dach" (below a roof) is a film about Swiss people. It examines our ambivalent relationship towards asylum seekers. The film shows official and unofficial sides of a village community, its humanitarian responsibility and how it deals with it. "Unter einem Dach" starts in the family home of a remarkable woman: Anni Nussbaumer, 80, widow, living in Wiesendangen near Winterthur. A Turkish-Kurdish family lives with her: father, mother, a daughter and two sons.
