Urban Islam. Between mobile phone and Koran

The exhibition portrays how Islam is lived by young people today on different continents: Visitors accompany young adults in their everyday lives in urban environments in Morocco, Senegal, Suriname, Turkey and Switzerland. (Exhibition prospectus Museum der Kulturen)

The exhibition is trilingual (DE/EN/FR) and uses many audiovisual means for presentation and communication. point de vue realised all language versions (subtitles and voice over) of the films and the audio stations. point de vue was also responsible for the programming and technical installation of the digital media. For the duration of the exhibition, short video contributions will be produced in workshops with schoolchildren from Basel, in which they will discuss their opinions and relationships to Islam. point de vue provided the technical infrastructure for this.
